Professional emphasis since entering full time private practice in 1982 has been forensic psychology, with specialties in criminal law, personal injury and custody. Of these, criminal law has been primary emphasis, with psychological evaluation of defendants and also expert testimony about the factors that affect the accuracy of eyewitness identification and report. As part of expert eyewitness testimony, I use visual displays from eyewitness identification research. I have testified about the results of psychological evaluations approximately 500 times and in eyewitness matters approximately 150 times.
