Responsibilities included business and new channels to market development, sales of, bidding and controlling multi million dollar contracts involving, Facilities Management software and Performance Contracts. Develop and improve internal and external processes. Provide Facilities Management consulting services to clients. Contracts ranged to $2, million.
PAMECO - VP of Sales Support for a nationwide HVAC contractor supply corporation with over 300 sites and sales over $600 million, Was responsible for the sales and marketing expertise at these locations for counter and field sales forces. Duties included operation and management assessments, process reviews, remedial actions and long-range development and oversight of sales and sales training programs.
The Ames Corporations - VP of Facilities Management and Business Manager for a large A & E firm. Responsible for the development, marketing, management and sales/third parties for the new Facilities Management business unit.
Also functioned as the corporate business manager with oversight of the HR, Marketing and Accounting Departments. Clients included entities from the industrial, educational, and health care sectors.
The Interlakes Group - V. P. and Chief Operating Officer with P & L responsibility for a $5 million consulting company engaged in operations management consulting to the manufacturing, utility, and healthcare industries. Projects included: Computer Management Systems, Materials Management, Process Improvement, Executive Coaching, Supervisor Training, Purchasing, Safety, Customer Service, Patient Support Services, Environmental Services, etc. Clients included: Scotts, Colt, WESCO, Telex, Lane Supply, Remington, New Hampshire Electric Cooperative and Columbia Medical Center. Was also responsible for Human Resources, Research and Development, and Marketing/Sales programs. Sales ranged to $500,000.
Bartlett Tree Experts - In-house management consultant responsible for the nationwide coordination of HR, Safety, Sales, Production, Training and Service, Developed safety training programs in all phases of tree care, operations and tree removal, Instrumental in significantly reducing annual worker compensation costs by 87.5%, saving in excess of $1 Million.
3-de Logging and Energy Farms, Inc. - As CEO, managed two successful startup companies with full P & L responsibility: a logging and tree service company and an energy development company, both of which increased revenues at an average annual rate of 26%. Participated in, and developed woods crews. Marked timber and set up contracts and logging jobs. Directed day-to-day operations of both companies. Directed the negotiations, design, budgeting, construction and management of the largest co-generating wind farm East of the Mississippi valued at over $2.5 million. Project was finished under budget by 15% and ahead of schedule by 27%. During the operational phase the site had a generation equipment availability rate of over 99%.
USAF – As Civil Engineering/Safety Officer, directed management staff of 8 who managed over 700 personnel engaged in design, construction, maintenance and operations of utilities, facilities, equipment and land valued at over $1 billion. Responsible for strategic planning, budget formulation and managing same, Managed the installation of the first computerized Department of Defense (DOD) Utility Supervisory Control System.
