Since 1982, Senior Instructor for the Insurance Educations Association for their courses in General Insurance, both for beginning and advanced Liability and Property Adjusting.

“Bad Faith” Claims, Construction Claims, Auto Uninsured/Under Insured Claims, Fire Claims, General Liability Claims, Water Damage, Security Claims, Construction Defects, Professional E & O Claims, Transportation Cargo Claims, and Suspected Fraudulent Insurance Claims. ELE Associates, Inc. was founded in 1974 and used by numerous insurance companies, self-insureds and the Underwriters at Lloyd’s of London for the investigation and adjustment of various insurance claims. These include both property and casualty claims. The company was also used by many attorney firms for the investigation of individuals and companies in connection with insurance claims and other legal actions.

In 1989/90 in the wake ofHurricane Hugo, adjusted over 300 claims on businesses and homes in Charleston, SC area. This includes over 50 homes and business in theHistoric District. These claims totaled over 5 million dollars and included shopping centers, apartments, condos, offices and single family dwelling.

Registered Professional Adjuster. Certified Consultant and Accredited Professional Consultant, American Consultants League.

Since 1980, qualified as an Expert Witness in court in California, Hawaii and U.S. District Court, in the fields of insurance adjusting, industry practices and investigation. Appeared in court numerous times as witness in criminal and civil cases. Presently involved in several pending cases and has given his deposition over twenty times in the last few years. From 1992 to 1994, worked as an adjuster and claims consultant in Los Angeles, CA, Ellisworth, KS, Orlando, FL, Charleston, SC and in Miami, FL afterHurricane Andrew. Since January 1994, back working as an independent claims consultant in the Southern California Area. Handled personally over 150 of the Northridge Earthquake claims and supervised the handling of many more. Now involved with claims re-opened under Code Section 1899.

Presently an Independent Claims Consultant and is available for consultation on claims involving insurance, both casualty and property, construction, “Bad Faith” and fraud. Also available as an appraiser, arbitrator or umpire in disputes under insurance coverages or construction contracts.

Presently involved in a number of large claims disputes and litigation, as well as appraisals and arbitration of a variety of claims.
