Expert 1315 is a Boston based attorney with a specialized practice involving property/casualty insurance.
He is a frequent lecturer and educator on insurance coverage issues and the economics of the industry, addressing audiences and
appearing in the media all across the United States.
Expert 1315 is also the host of a nationally syndicated radio program.
1986 to Present
Expert 1315 has served as Special Counsel to a local insurance Institute, a New York based, information and education trade association
of the property/casualty industry since 1986.
In this capacity, Expert 1315 has made numerous appearances on national and local television and radio programs as well as
conducted interviews in a wide range of print media and participated as a speaker or moderator
in a number of industry conventions and conferences.
During this time, Expert 1315 was also the Co-Director of the Hurricane Insurance Information Center in Miami following Hurricane
Andrew (September 1992 to December 1993), Co-Director of the Coalition for Hurricane Preparedness (1994 to 1997) and Director of the
Tornado Insurance Information Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, following the May 1999 tornado.
Following the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center on 9/11/01, he was appointed Co-Director of the a local insurance Information
Office in New York City, which provides information to the media, government agencies and educational institutions regarding the complex
insurance issues raised as a result of that event.
1994 to Present
In 1994, Expert 1315 inaugurated the radio program, "Let's Talk Insurance…" on six stations on the Talk America Radio Network.
The number of stations carrying the program grew rapidly.
Eventually, the program was carried on over 80 radio stations nationwide.
In the fall of 1997, anticipating the convergence of insurance, banking and investment activities in the financial services sector,
the name of the program was changed.
In September 2001, Expert 1315 moved his program to another network.
In 2004, Expert 1315 and his production team, former guests, friends and listeners celebrated the program's 10th anniversary.
In the fall of 1994, Expert 1315 founded a local Foundation that helps raise funds to help defray the costs of keeping "It's Your Money!" on the air each week, providing an open line, interactive radio forum for a wide range of personal and business finance issues.
In 1998, Expert 1315 was presented the Golden Torch Award by the Insurance Marketing Communications Association for "Enlightened Leadership and Innovation in Insurance Communications".
1983 to 1986
Expert 1315 served as executive Vice President of Litigation Systems, Inc., a multi-party, multi-jurisdiction litigation electronic file
management company.
During this time, he published an article entitled, "Litigation Management for the Claims Person" in the Defense
Research Institute's "For the Defense" magazine.
1979 to 1983
Senior Vice President, Claims, Commercial Union Insurance Company. Expert 1315 had the home office casualty, property, fidelity, national
accounts and environmental claims divisions plus the Claims Counsel's office and staff counsel offices reporting to him.
He was also Vice Chairman of the Asbestos Claims Council of the Wellington Group, (named after its Mediator, Harry Wellington, Dean of
Yale Law School), which established the National Asbestos Claims Facility.
Expert 1315 was also the Chairman of the Commercial Union Environmental Issues Task Force.
1977 to 1979
Vice President and Senior Claims Counsel, a newly created position at Commercial Union Insurance Company, Boston, Massachusetts.
During his tenure in the position, Expert 1315 introduced or significantly enhanced the following programs:

Expert 1315 was also a partner in several real estate ventures during this time.
