During the last four years of Expert 1371's residency (1992-96), he ran an advanced referral contact dermatitis clinic at UCSD and served as the consulting dermatologist, for the UCSD Center for Occupational and Environmental Medicine. The prolonged completion of my training was due to illness, which did not allow me to work full-time.

This is a tertiary referral practice located at UCSD Medical Center that is devoted principally to contact dermatitis and occupational dermatology.

Dozens of presentations and lectures about contact dermatitis for the UCSD and Balboa Naval Medical Center dermatology residency program and San Diego Dermatological Society meetings.

PROFESSIONAL COMMITTEES

1997 to 2000- Latex-Safe Task Force Expert 1371 was instrumental in designing a local medical center's latex policies, with particular emphasis on glove selection and development of questionnaires for screening patients and employees for latex allergy.
